Referral Marketing can take your business to the next level.
In the current economic climate most businesses are looking for innovative ways to meet new prospects and develop a good pipeline of leads for their business.
BNI, which stands for "Business Networking International" is a networking group which helps local businesses to grow by word of mouth referrals. The concept started in the USA and there are now more than 5,000 chapters around the world. There are several BNI chapters now in Ireland with over 20 in Dublin alone.
Our chapter is based in Howth, Co Dublin and includes businesses primarily on the North side of the city including Howth, Sutton, Clontarf, Baldoyle, Santry, Finglas, Portmarnock, and Malahide.
The Summit Chapter was founded in 2007 and we have around 25 businesses in total. We only allow one business per business category to join so there is no competition within the group itself. For example we have one accountant, one Solicitor, one Plumber, one electrician, one printer etc. However there are several categories under which you can join the chapter and we are always looking for new members to join that we can refer business to.
The chapter has been very successful to date, We have started tracking the value of the referrals that we pass to our fellow members each week and the total amount of business generate by our small group over the last year has now exceeded one million euros.
